Welcome to Swaffham Prior CE Primary School. We are a friendly and inclusive primary school for pupils aged 4-11.
Our motto at Swaffham Prior is ‘Keep Growing’
At the heart of how we try to achieve this lie our Core Values. We aim to demonstrate these values in the way we learn, work and play in our school. These values have been chosen by our pupils, staff and governors and they are:
COMPASSION COMMUNITY HOPE PEACE PERSEVERANCE WONDER
Our school provides a broad and balanced curriculum complemented by an exciting range of extra-curricular activities. Our aim is to inspire your child with confidence in their own ability. We see education as a partnership between our committed and loyal staff, interested parents and motivated pupils. This is why we feel well equipped to provide teaching and learning opportunities, which will help prepare your child well for the increasingly complex world in which we live. The school provides a caring and secure environment, with opportunities provided to discuss and explore issues around growing up and developing as successful members of the community. Our close links with Bottisham Village College and the wider local community develop within the children a sense of responsibility, instilling in them a sense of individual worth and a respect for others. We hope to create the best possible opportunities for your child and we look forward to sharing their development with you.
This website is newly created and we hope it will provide you with an insight into the thriving happy school that is Swaffham Prior. As the year progresses we will add further content and we welcome suggestions for things you would find helpful to have listed on the site. It can be difficult to encapsulate the energy and enthusiasm of a working school in a website, so please contact us and arrange a visit if you would like to know more about the school.Helen Bartley
