Neptune Class Page
Welcome to our Neptune Class page!
Neptune Class (Years 3 and 4) is taught by Mrs Holt and Mrs Anderton. Mrs Holt is currently teaching full time as Mrs Anderton on maternity leave.
Mrs Cole, Miss Cook and Miss Pap are in class to help support the children’s learning.
The key skills are essential for success so we concentrate on the foundation skills of maths and writing to help all children make the most of their Key Stage learning. We promote a love of reading and love to hear about favourite books the children read at home.
Our class follow the Key Stage 2 curriculum and this year our topics are “Earth and Beyond”, “It’s All Greek to Me!” and “A Bit of Culture”. We like to make the children’s learning fun, practical and challenging. To help this we like to have visitors into school, like History off the Page, to have themed days and to organise trips to places of interest.
Every other year we go on a residential trip to Burwell House, where we develop our independence skills by staying away for 2 nights and 3 days as well as enjoying team building activities.
Don’t forget, Monday 17th July is the big day! Meet your teacher at The Denny by 9.15 a.m. Remember not to come to school! We are not…
