Neptune Class Page

Welcome to our Neptune Class page!

Neptune Class (Years 3 and 4) is taught by Mrs Anderton (Monday – Wednesday) and Miss Plachcinski (Thursday – Friday).

Mrs Cole, Ms. Frost and Miss Pap are in class to help support the children’s learning.

The key skills are essential for success so we concentrate on the foundation skills of Maths and English to help all children make the most of their Key Stage learning. We promote a love of reading and love to hear about favourite books the children read at home.

Our class follow the Key Stage 2 curriculum and this year our topics are “Landscape Explorers”, “Invaders” and “Life on Earth”. We like to make the children’s learning fun, practical and challenging. To help this, we like to have visitors into school, e.g. History off the Page, to have themed days and to organise trips to places of interest.

Every other year we go on a residential trip to Burwell House, where we develop our independence skills by staying away for two nights and three days as well as enjoying team building activities.
